We are proud to be able to announce that since November 2021 we are among the companies involved in the renovation works of the headquarters of Volkswagen Group Italia, a subsidiary of the German automotive group, which in our country represents the brands Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT | CUPRA, ŠKODA and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles. The energy efficiency works which will affect the building will allow a cut in CO2 emissions equal to 702 tons per year, and have the objective of obtaining the NZEB (Nearly Zero Energy Building) certification: literally "nearly zero energy building" zero". The interventions are part of the environmental policy of the Veronese company which, together with other actions such as the progressive decarbonisation of the company fleet or the 20% reduction in the headquarters' energy needs, is significantly accelerating its green turn.
La Maggiò is the contractor for this important re-styling work for the entire facade envelope, which will consist of the progressive replacement, floor by floor, of all the old windows and doors with new ones with high thermal efficiency and specific shielding characteristics, and a new black alucobond cladding which will profoundly improve the aesthetic impact of the building. Even inside the building, La Maggiò is creating the reinforcement and seismic adaptation structures, and rearranging all the surfaces with walls and false walls in highly fire-resistant plasterboard. The works will last approximately two years and will completely change the current appearance of the building, both internally and externally.
