La Ghiaccia is a magical place located among the vineyards of Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG: an ancient icebox found in the vineyard has been converted into a very exclusive bistro-restaurant by the landscape design studio MAO Architects.
The project involved the engineering and development of all the bold metal structures that support the light roofing sails, all the large glazed facades, the sheet metal cladding of the entire building and the interior finishes.
The intervention required great care and expertise in attention to detail.
